LAY LOW - returns with a new album, Talking About The Weather.
On the back of international tours with Of Monsters And Men, Daughter and most re- cently Asgeir, Lay Low will follow the album release with a European tour in April.

Released initially in Iceland, the new album comes after last years single release of the song Our Conversations that Is taken from her new album.Recorded and produced by Lay Low herself during a period of creative isolation, the new material has been mixed by UK producer and Communion co-founder Ian Grimble famed for his work with Mumford & Sons, Travis, Beth Orton and, most recently, Daughter.

Since Bobby D crashed his Triumph Tiger, it is a course that countless artists have set upon. In Lay Low's case, she retreated to Hveragerði, and the relative isolation of her home studio, coupled with her parent's Reykjavik basement. Inspired by a room full of in- struments, she pressed record - the only outside contribution coming from her friend Bassi, who plays drums. It captures a new direction for Lay Low, a steely confidence - adding flecks of ambient sound and layered vocals to her trademark acoustic sound. Each play reveals hidden melodies and new depths.

Lay Low has unveiled her intimate self-made video for “One Of Those Nights" The video was shot on location in her homeland - matching the sparse after-hours dreaminess of the music with Iceland's barren isolation.

“Giving up isn't an option anymore, I'm floating to where I belong...“
